ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
James Reid is an employment/corporate attorney with almost 10 years of experience representing employers and employees in various legal matters. As employment is his primary practice area, he is able to devote the majority of his time to employment law issues. He works mainly with employers on a wide spectrum of issues including counseling and training human resources personnel. James also develops and improves employment policies and contracts, handbooks, employment agreements, non-competes, non-disclosure agreements, and unconditional releases and separation agreements.
Furthermore, when the need arises, James represents employers in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Michigan Department of Civil Rights and the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency.
